Saddle Fitting & Transport

Saddle Fitting

saddle fit 2.jpg

Saddle fit can have a major impact on your horse’s comfort, movement, behavior, and overall performance under saddle. During a fitting, I evaluate saddle balance, tree width, clearance, contact, and potential pressure points while also considering the horse’s conformation, muscling, asymmetries, and the rider’s position.

Because horses change over time, a saddle that once fit well may no longer be the best match. Changes in workload, conditioning, age, weight, and muscle development can all affect fit. It is not about chasing perfection; it is about creating the best possible balance, comfort, and freedom of movement for the horse in front of you. My goal is to help identify issues that may be contributing to soreness, restriction, uneven movement, or changes in performance and give owners practical, straightforward guidance on what is—and isn’t—working for their horse.

Saddle fitting should not be viewed as a luxury service reserved for riders with expensive tack. Every horse deserves a saddle that fits as comfortably and correctly as possible, regardless of discipline, budget, or the price of the saddle.

Equine Transport

Safe, thoughtful transport matters just as much as the destination. I offer equine transportation with a focus on keeping each horse as comfortable, calm, and secure as possible from loading to arrival.

Whether your horse needs transportation to a veterinary appointment, show, training facility, new barn, or another local destination, I take the time to consider their individual needs and experience with hauling. My goal is to make the trip as smooth and low-stress as possible while giving owners confidence that their horse is being handled with care throughout the process.

Transport availability is limited and scheduled in advance whenever possible.
